ABOUT THE ALBUM

Triskaidekaphobia’s lead track “Don’t Make Me Beg” is featured on the soundtrack for the 2008 hit movie Waitress, starring Keri Russell!

"Coming five years after the band’s debut album, The Four Charms’Triskaidekaphobia is a jaunty time warp of retro rock, blues and swing. While still retaining the band’s core sound of postwar jump blues, this time around Sutton and co. have made room for some other late ‘40s and early ‘50s vibes including the Howlin’ Wolf-esque blues of “I Gotta Get Another Girl” and a Latin take on Johnny Burnette’s rockabilly classic “Lonesome Tears In My Eyes.” This is a superb and winning collection of vintage style swing that still sounds fresh and invigorating."
